We headed back to Buckhead today for the anniversary festivities. Good ole small town fun. There was a tractor parade, Bluegrass music (Britt’s band “Ramblin Mountain”), food, crafts/art ( I got to pick out some jewelry as a Christmas gift from my parents, I also bought some really cute dangly ear rings!), sack race, three-legged race, and a watermelon eating contest. Jody is a city council member so she was in charge of the games. After we all took naps at Jody’s we went to the local mexican restaurant…never get sick of mexican! On the way home, Jonathan introduced Addison to the “Quiet Game”…so funny that Addison really liked it and wanted to win. Everyone is tucked in to their cozy beds and fast asleep now.
